Introducing the service
The Association Locale Hesdinoise de Développement Sanitaire is a non-profit association. It was founded on November 10, 1981. The Board of Directors is made up of doctors, nurses, paramedics and user representatives.
The Service de Soins Infirmiers à Domicile was created on January 1, 1983, by prefectoral decree of December 14, 1982 (Arras), to help elderly people stay at home.
The first premises were located in Hesdin, Marconne and currently in Hesdin.
(In accordance with the Code des Collectivités Territoriales, in particular article 2122-28, the municipal authorization to open to the public was issued on 10/02/2012, for an opening on 11/02/2012).
This Association, governed by the law of 1901, carried two entities until June 30, 2023:
- The S.S.I.A.D, with a capacity of 30 beds.
- The 7 Vallées Gerontological Health Network.
Since July 1, 2023, the Network has been part of the DAC “Coordination Support Device” located in Ecuires (a device supported by the ARS to streamline complex healthcare pathways and organize care in the territories with the usual professionals).

- Helping people stay in their own homes by providing personalized assistance
- Prevent or delay admission in institution
- Helping patients return from hospital in the best possible conditions
- Evaluate and adapt services according to the evolution of the dependency of the cared-for person
- Improving adaptation to their environment
- Take part in the support and accompaniment of patients' families when in the event of complications
Admission and care conditions
All admissions must be preceded by a pre-admission visit to the user's home.
This pre-admission is carried out by the service's nurse coordinator. During this appointment, the presence of a close friend or family member (referent and/or confidant) is recommended.
The admission protocol, valid for one month, is completed and signed by the attending physician. It will be extended every 3 months, in accordance with regulations, failing which the service will be interrupted. During the period of care, the User or his/her legal representative undertakes to comply with the operating rules in force at the service.
An individual care document (DIPEC) is drawn up by the nurse coordinator with the participation of the user or his/her legal representative. The document defines the objectives and …
Cost of care
SSIAD services are fully covered by the patient's CPAM or social security organization, with reimbursement based on a medical prescription.
